Beautiful remodel inside. Daytime very light and bright with extraordinarily vivid jewel-toned stained glass windows depicting the twelve apostles. Very unique and pleasant depictions of each man and their symbols. Due to Ft. Knox nearness significantly ethnically/racially diverse parish population, which can be a plus. I think that was sweetly highlighted by each verse of Silent Night being sung in a different language, printed in bulletin. Gorgeous Midnight Mass. Small but golden-voiced choir makes Heavenly sound every Mass. Come early and park in the smaller area on the high side so you can go in that side door, especially if you need a handicapped space. Parking in the big lot on the low side means you will have to hike up the steep hill of built in steps to go in at the front of the church. Lovely site, but inconvenient for some and less safe for anyone in inclement weather, but there is sturdy railing and the steps are wide and deep. I dropped my Mom off at high side since it's level with church building and drove car from low side for pick up. New Priest, Fr. Hopper, is quite vigorous in his manner, and positive in his style, I think. I have attended several Masses there, starting with his first one there. TIP: Don't be surprised if this Roman Catholic priest mentions his wife: Fr.Hopper converted to Catholicism after marriage and received permission to become an ordained priest in the Church by the Church.
